First, I was looking for a retro experience out of Alexandria Quartet. Exactly what I wanted. Second, the staff. The guest services, Christina and Sara, the morning restaurant manager, Mr. Momen. Btw the breakfast on the roof with its sweeping view of the sea and huge and I mean huge offerings encouraged a lingering joyful start to the day. In the evening, dinner is equally wonderfully. Beautifully prepared and reasonably priced menu items. A young lady I believe Noren or Nasrin took care of me. Her smile brightened my day. But all staff were excellent. I was upgraded so I cannot comment on regular rooms. I felt I was in a novel. Yes a bit faded Glory but brand new bathroom, crisp super white sheets and glorious white towels.. Housekeeping staff were not only efficient but went out of their way to help me. And the laundry service. Most hotels rip you off. Pants, shirts etc were returned the same day for a dollar. My choices for hotel were Cecil or Windsor. Yes Cecil is renovated but after a visit to the bar I was glad I had chosen the Windsor. Cecil was overpriced and the renovations were too shi y and the staff although professional lacked the genuine warmth of absolutely everyone from the front desk staff to the older gentleman who cleans up the lobby to security guards at the Windsor. Btw make sure you take advantage of the day trip to the hotel's beach Hotel. Lovely beach, glorious pool and the very romantic restaurant with white cotton gently blowing in the breeze. Again impeccable staff and a brilliantly prepared fish for lunch. I needed this classic stay for my soul and Windsor delivered. Thank you all.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore the main attractions and enjoy the local atmosphere. What truly stands out, however, is the exceptional service. The staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with any request. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable, which makes a huge difference in your stay. Special thanks to Christina for her warm hospitality—she even surprised me with delicious mini cookies, a thoughtful gesture that added a personal touch. I highly recommend room 405 (or any room with a similar layout).

it's a amazing experience to live inside a historic building and they have the most magnificent sea views when you have fabulous breakfast on the roof!!! and staff here can speak fluency english which makes you feel safe,which if you have any requirement they can understand and help you; we would like to thank Mayar/Reem/Ahmed N. they arranged a very beautiful sea view room for us that can observer the Qaitbay fort and also the very nice police officer Ibrahim,he helped us communicate with Uber driver which really give us the sense of safety! really love this hotel!

The hotel location is central to the main attractions in Alexandria (Greco- Roman Museum, Fouad and Nabi Daniel street, and popular food places like Delices, Chez Gabi, fish market, trianon, and many other places) having the BEST sea view among other hotels. Rooms are authentic. If you are coming with your car you will have a major challenge with the parking. Breakfast is okay, however the view is amazing. The room is equipped with all the required kits (dental, shaving, loofas) without even asking for it. The reception team is amazing, Christina, Ahmed, Michael and Reem, they are very polite and helpful.
